-is a resource pamphlet developed by the Niagara Region Breastfeeding Coalition (NRBFC) to assist families in the area to access support and assistance with breastfeeding

-was a peer support program that provided new mothers with breastfeeding support and information, using experienced trained volunteers (links) from the community
Breastfeeding...... Getting it Right, Early Breastfeeding Days
-is a booklet developed to provide mothers with current breastfeeding information. This booklet is curently distributed by all hospitals within the Niagara Region
Presentations
-the NRBFC made a presentation to area pharmacists to make them aware of resources in the community and how they can assist breastfeeding mothers to continue successfully
-the NRBFC presented a breastfeeding inservice to area physicians in conjuction with Niagara Region Public Health
-NRBFC members met with Parks and Recreation staff from Niagara Region's municipalities to encourage Baby Friendly areas at events in various parks. Baby Friendly Areas, Caring for your Festival's Youngest Participants was made available to event organizers

Community Advocacy
-letters have been written to the local hospitals encouraging continued support for breastfeeding families
-retailers who provide baskets to new mothers have been encouraged to replace soothers and bottles with more baby friendly items such as bibs or blankets
Restaurant Initative
-the NRBFC as encouraged restaurants to provide a supportive breastfeeding environment to their customers.
Displays
-the NRBFC has displayed educational information at local shopping malls and events
- the NRBFC organized the Breastfeeding Challenge in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009
