Breastfeeding Checklist: Your Baby’s Feedings

Answer yes or no to the following statements:

If you answer “yes” to any of the following during your breastfeeding experience, call for breastfeeding support.

-I cannot tell the difference between sucking and swallowing

-I am experiencing sore nipples/breast pain

-I am using/thinking about using a supplement

-My baby is having less than 3 bowel movements in a day after day 4

-My baby is having less than 6 wet diapers in a day after day 4

-I am not sure if breastfeeding is going well

-My breasts remain hard and full after a feeding
