Breastfeeding challenges

Remember: Holding your baby skin to skin frequently throughout the first days gets breastfeeding off to a good start. Continued skin to skin can help with latching, temperature control and decreases infant crying.

Very few circumstances require you to stop breastfeeding. If breastfeeding needs to be interrupted, seek help from a breastfeeding expert on how to maintain your breastmilk supply. Click here for local resources.
